How to Crack GATE 2021

For all the folks who have appeared for GATE 2020, I wish you all the best for your results. And now for GATE 2021 aspirants, I believe this is the perfect time to start your preparations.

Before one starts preparing for any Exam, one should develop a strategy which will increase his chances of cracking the Exam. And the same goes for GATE. I am going to share with you the best strategy that will work wonders for those who implement it.

But you might be wondering why you should listen to my advice? What authority I have?

Well, I completed my masters from IIT Bombay. To get into IIT, I have cracked GATE 2015 and GATE 2016 with AIR 318 and AIR 89 respectively. During my preparation, I have done thorough research on how Top rankers prepared for GATE and came up with a perfect strategy. Later I have taught this to several GATE aspirants and found remarkable results. Therefore, now I am sharing this proven strategy with you.

Why do you need a Strategy, some might ask?

Well, having a strategy greatly increases your chances of success. Almost everyone who cracked GATE has had a strategy. With a very few exceptions, if you are one of those who get single-digit rank without any strategy than do me a favour and don’t read this article, this is not for you. It is written for normal people.

You will plan your preparation in 3 different phases. Theses phases are –

Phase I – Concept building phase

Phase II – Problem solver phase

Phase III – Rapid improvement phase

  1. Create a WhatsApp group and add highly motivated GATE aspirants to it.
  2. Collect as many soft-copy and hard-copy of standard books you can
  3. Gather study material for GATE (used in phase II)
  4. Keep a separate book for each subject
  5. collect as many mock papers you can collect
  6. Get a previous year’s GATE solved papers
